the driver’s seat. The more women
who are empowered to take the boat
out themselves, or to take the kids out
water-skiing, or who feel confident

home safely, the more accessible the

Carly Poole is proud to be the fourth generation of the Poole family to be actively
involved in the family business, Buckeye
Marine. At Buckeye, Carly is instrumental in
creating and implementing courses and programs to instill safe boating within the boating community. As a member of the
Canadian Safe Boating Council and a course
conductor through Canadian Yachting
Association, Carly has a keen sense of boating safety and uses it as a platform for all of
Buckeye’s numerous courses. This coupled
with Carly’s lifelong boating experience
makes her not only a course conductor but
also a hands-on educator. Carly is thrilled
that she can apply the skills she has gained
